  1. What’s the big deal? I love both Manchester United and Manchester City now that they are both in the running for the title. Is that so wrong?

  3. Yes, Arsenal did just sell a couple of guys. And teams like the Sounders played reserve-league players out of position when Man U ran the score up on them with the like of Rooney on the pitch. Sorry, but it’s an entirely appropriate comparison.

  4. Wenger has lost the plot and his team. He should fall on his sword. Not a Man U fan, but like that as an English team they actually have a core of English players, unlike Arsenal.

  5. Can I resign as an Arsenal fan now? It looks like ownership and Wenger are more concerned with putting together some non-British U-23 side and winning with it than competing.

I like Tottenham, and Alkmaar is pretty fun to watch too. RIP Gunners.

  6. Arsenal is severely talent depleted at this juncture. You don’t lose Fabregas and Nasri within two weeks of each other and not suffer, no matter how deep you may be. Since those major transfers, I’m surprised Arsenal has not been aggressively seeking replacements. There’s now only 3 days left in the transfer window. Even with all those players Dave above mentions back and healthy, if Arsenal doesn’t pick up two top strikers or midfielders, it will be a long season.

  7. Man Ashley young has sure become a solid player…. I remember playing with watford in fifa when they were in the epl and young was the only reason my teams would stay up just barely but he would score 20 a year for me in a 4-3-3

  8. Arsenal just sold its two best players and has yet to bring in replacements along with injuries/suspensions to wilshire, song, diaby, gervinho, vermalean, gibbs, sagna, and frimpong. To compare this to the pre-season form red devils team that destroyed the mls is ridiculous.

  10. One of the few times I can say I’m embarrassed to be a gunners fan…Can’t see Wenger staying much longer unless he can bring in some real players instead of playing reserves.
