The future of Carlos Tevez seems to have taken yet another turn.

The want-away Argentine hit man has returned to Manchester City's Carrington training ground for a light session.

Earlier this summer, a hefty bid for Tevez was made by Corinthians after the striker made it clear that he wasn't happy with life in Manchester, but a move was never finalized and Tevez looked destined to remain a City player.

Compatriot Sergio Aguero was recently signed by City seemingly as a replacement for Tevez, but now head coach Roberto Mancini has the opportunity to speak with the former captain of the club personally.

Inter Milan has emerged as one of the leading candidates to land the signature of Tevez, but if history has taught us anything, the future of the 27-year-old forward is not an easy thing to predict.

Here are some other stories to keep your Monday rolling along:

LUKAKU UNDERGOING CHELSEA MEDICAL

Highly sought-after teenage striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly undergoing a medical at Chelsea today, a "dream move" according to the 18-year-old Belgian.

Chelsea agreed a fee with Lukaku's current club Anderlecht over the weekend, and the Belgium striker looks set to complete his move to the London club in the near future.

The striker has netted 33 goals in 73 appearances for the club, including two goals in two games so far in the Belgian Pro League this season.

OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN LOOKING SET FOR ARSENAL

Speaking of medicals, it is being reported that, after reaching a £12 million agreement with Southampton, Arsenal currently have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain undergoing his own medical at the Emirates Stadium in London.

The player has frequently been linked with Arsenal, including a statement from his father encouraging Oxlade-Chamberlain to join the Gunners.

The winger would be the third addition to Arsene Wenger's crop of players this summer after Carl Jenkinson joined from Charlton and Gervinho arrived from Lille.

MATA POISED TO STAY AT VALENCIA

Despite being rumored with a move away from Valencia for the better part of the summer and eating up his fair share of news headlines, club manager Unai Emery stated that he believes Juan Mata will remain at the La Liga club after considering his future.

Long linked with a handful of EPL clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, Mata looks set to stay at La Mestalla for at least another season.

The club has been forced to sell its star assets in the past (i.e. David Villa, David Silva…etc) in order to combat the heavy amount of debt incurred by the organization in the past., but, for now at least, it looks that Mata will remain a Valencia player.

REAL MADRID SIGNS 7-YEAR-OLD PROSPECT

In hopes of landing the next Lionel Messi, Real Madrid has signed 7-year-old Argentine Leonel Angel Coira.

Known already just as "Leo," he will reportedly join training with Madrid at the beginning of next month.

Where do you think Tevez will end up? How big of an asset will Lukaku be to Chelsea? What about Oxlade-Chamberlain for Arsenal? Think Valencia holding on to Mata is the right move? What odds do you give Coira to become the next Messi?
