It looks like “reload.” Just returned from watching Akron DESTROY Cleveland State, the only team to beat them. Mattocks looks hawt.
Speaking of, my brother just took a two year school, Monroe College, to Hartford and to Central CT and outplayed both of them. Beat Central 1-0 first half before pulling starters and tied Hartford 0-0 with dominating spells. The talent pool in the Junior Colleges is expanding: In the long run that’s good for U.S. Soccer
UCONN!
Excited to see what Akron will do this year….rebuild or reload….they have some exciting young freshmen talent coming in
Maryland started the season with a strong second half against St. john’s for a 3-0 win! Goals by Mullins, Stertzer, and Townsend! SBI where is the Maryland preview?!
Agree, I’ve grown to like college soccer, always exciting to see young prospects and the level of play is constantly improving. Glad Ives is giving it some well-deserved coverage. Hopefully the level of play continues to improve until it is seen as a solid league to get noticed from.
No idea who Carlos Salazar is…but we do have a pretty good player by the name of Carlos Alvarez.
I’ll be at the game tomorrow night hopefully watching my Cards beat UCLA. Let’s just hope it doesn’t snow again.
I’m glad there will be expanded coverage of college soccer; this is a void in the general media and it would be great if you could post the top games that are being played EACH WEEK (not just for the season). I’m most excited to watch Akron and UCONN this season.
Bruin to Galaxy connection once again…Go LA!
Let’s go Ponies!!!!
