  1. I dont know if any of you have watched MLB network, but it shows games not nationaly televised, has all the latest news, has inside stories around the league and all with little to non commercials. I would even like it if they had some taped practices or post game conferences.

  2. I have grown wearisome of all the accolades the media keep giving Pappa. All are undeserving for a player who hasn’t done crap all this year.

  3. I know building a stadium just for the sake of having a SSS is what hurts teams the most (Chicago, Dallas, Colorado, Columbus). Teams need to get stadiums near downtown or the area they represent or move away. Its the same reason both Florida teams folded stadium locations were horrid.

  4. I don’t think they look all the impressive tonight(first half); though that could be because it’s a zillion degrees there right now. I’m just seeing a lot of sloppy possession in the midfield and on the wings.

  5. I agree that attendance is a huge problem. However, it looks worse than it is on TV. Most fans avoid the seats that are shown in the broadcast because they are directly in the sun. For this game in particular, those seats were actually closed.

  6. Are their more than 5 people in Dallas? I know its a weekday but come on this has been one of the best teams in the league for 2 seasons and they still have poor attendance. All you hear from the other fans is excuses. First it was the team is bad. Then it was the FO’s fault. It’s now pretty clear the Frisco location is going to hold us back for at least another decade.

  7. both your idea and xena’s are great. Would cost practically nothing and would be so much more interesting than some of the stuff that’s on.

  9. So, your saying if you happened to be in London, you wouldn’t be interested in reasably priced Fulham tickets….

  10. Edgar Castillo and Herculez Gomez both starting in the America vs. Tecos match tonight.

Also featuring for Tecos is Mario Perez (MEX), a guy that was playing for the Atlanta Silverbacks just a few weeks ago.

  11. That really is ridiculous. I watched the quarterfinal though. It wasn’t as horrible as you might think. Our forwards passed the ball well, but had a LOT of trouble finishing off good chanced. Our defense on the other hand was very poor, especially Gale Agbossumonde (who I had been very high on.) Coaching was also to blame, we threw everything forward and couldn’t recover during Guatemala’s counter attacks. Also, our keeper definitely didn’t have a great game.

  14. I’d rather hear about the yanks here and where the foreigners are from…we need to build the familiarity with our league

  15. 100% man. I’d love for Fox Soccer or even a supposedly ‘MLS’ network to do a program every week on a “YankAbroad”. Simple half hr feature. Talk about where they came from and all that. Maybe a puff piece but be nice to hear how they are when abroad.

  16. FC Dallas is the best team in MLS…. beat Alianza tonight, and we get Pumas (the best team in Mexico) in the CL group play. Now that would def attract some fans to Pizza Hut Park. Gotta get by Alianza first tho

  17. Why so many games at one time on a weeknight? I have practice! Hey Ives, has there been any talk of a MLS network on TV like the MLB or NFL? Thats something i would spend my money on.
