Stuart Holden returned to action for the first time in five months on Tuesday with an 80-minute appearance with the Bolton reserves, and while his team suffered a 7-0 thrashing in London, Holden accomplished a very important mission.
He took the field and played.
Holden came away encouraged and excited by his first match since March, and could be in action for Bolton in the Premier League as soon as Sept. 10th against Manchester United.
