Just when will Carlos Tevez find his way out of the media spotlight?
Not today.
West Ham is reportedly prepared to offer Tevez a lifeline by taking the want-away striker on loan from Manchester City until at least the January transfer window.
Tevez has been the subject of intense scrutiny after his apparent refusal to play against Bayern Munich earlier in the week, and the club may well be looking offload the Argentine.
West Ham has made an approach to the Manchester club and has offered to pay a portion of Tevez's monster £200,000 per week salary in exchange for securing the player's services in the Championship League of English soccer.
Tevez joined West Ham in 2006 and evolved into a huge fan favorite, as the Hammers avoided relegation that year almost single-handedly at Tevez's hand. Tevez netted seven goals in 26 appearances for the club in his lone year in London.

KROENKE BACKS WENGER
Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has put his faith in under-fire manager Arsene Wenger, following the club's sub-par start to the season.
After losing players like Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri over the summer transfer window, life was never going to be easy for the French tactician, but Kroenke, the majority shareholder in Arsenal, firmly asserted, "Arsene's our man."
The London club is currently languishing in 13th place in the English Premier League after collecting a mere seven points thus far in the 2011-2012 campaign.
Collecting two wins and a draw from six games isn't typical of Wenger, but Kroenke is a staunch believer in the manager and believes that clubs "go through a periods like that."
INTER COOLS LAVEZZI TALK
Inter Milan CEO Ernesto Paolillo has dismissed claims that the club is going to make a bid for Argentine striker Ezequiel Lavezzi of Napoli, not in January, but next summer.
Lavezzi has been held in high esteem by the Napoli supporters since his addition to the team in the summer of 2007.
Inter loaned Goran Pandev to Napoli in the closing weeks of the transfer window, and reports have suggested that the Pandev move could pave the way for Lavezzi to link up at Inter in the future.
However, Paolillo has cooled such trasnfer speculation and is adamant that the two moves are unrelated.
Inter Milan is currently 16th in Serie A with four points while Napoli is sitting in 4th on seven points.
ALMUNIA JOINS HAMMERS ON LOAN
It seems that Arsene Wenger is happy to leave Wojciech Szczesny between the goal posts for the foreseeable future as Manuel Almunia has completed an "emergency" one-month loan to West Ham.
With Hammers No. 1 Robert Green sidelined with cartilage damage in his knee, Almunia should slide right into the picture at West Ham.
The 34-year-old has seen his status as the starter at Arsenal fall from his grasp, and West Ham presents a new challenge for the Spaniard to tackle.
