SBI MLS Team of the Week: Toronto FC

Toronto FC finally put it all together against the Columbus Crew.

TFC put an end to its Trillium Cup nightmare by posting a 4-2 victory over the Crew for its first win in the rivalry series in 13 matches (1-5-7) and a performance worthy of SBI's MLS Team of the Week honors.

Nick Soolsman, Ryan Johnson, Julian de Guzman and Danny Koevermans each scored as part of a balanaced attack that helped deal the Crew just their second home loss of the season and forced the club into a tie with Sporting Kansas City atop the Eastern Conference standings. Toronto, meanwhile, won on the road for the first time all year, captured the trophy for the first time since its inception into MLS and looks to continue playing the role of spoiler down the stretch.

TFC beat out the likes of Real Salt Lake, SKC and D.C. United to take home SBI's weekly honors.
