The nation's last perfect record is no more.

Top-ranked Connecticut was held to a scoreless draw by No. 12 Notre Dame in front of nearly 2,000 fans in South Bend, Indiana. The draw was the first time the Huskies failed to win in 12 tries this season while Notre Dame continued its home unbeaten run.

Th Fighting Irish dominated most of the game and were unlucky to not come away with the victory. Ryan Finley almost put Notre Dame up before halftime but Andre Blake saved his point-blank shot. Blake denied Finley again 12 minutes before time and neither team could produce a goal in overtime.

Notre Dame ended the game with a 9-4 advantage in terms of shots on goal as the Irish played their seventh overtime game of the season.
