If you're a big fan of matches in between teams ranked in the top 10, this weekend is perfect for you.
Louisville, currently ranked at No. 7 on Fox Soccer's Top 25, travels to take on No. 8 St. John's in one of the weekend's marquee matchups. Louisville should come in high in confidence after trumping Cincinatti 4-0 on Wednesday, and the Cardinals will look to carry that over as they try and test redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Rafael Diaz and the Red Storm defense.
Ninth-ranked Creighton will also get a visit from a ranked opponent, as No. 10 UC-Irvine attempts to win its fifth straight. Led by senior forward/midfielder Miguel Ibarra, the Anteaters will look to continue their climb up the standings against a Creighton team that has lost twice in its last four games.
South Florida is another team on the rise that will be in action on Saturday. Having moved up to No. 5 this week, the Bulls will take to the road to face Syracuse. South Florida has not lost in nearly a month and goalkeeper Chris Blais will hope to keep it that way.
