The Chicago Fire isn't out of the playoff picture just yet.
Chicago kept itself in the mix for a playoff spot on Saturday night, earning a 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo at Robertson Stadium. The result has Chicago on 37 points this season, three shy of the last wild card spot currently held by the New York Red Bulls.
Houston got on the scoreboard first, with Colin Clarke breaking the deadlock with a shot from close range. The Dynamo would not hold onto the lead, though, as one of its former players would make it pay.
Traded by Houston early in the season, Dominic Oduro burned his old team when he scored the equalizer for the Fire on a low effort just before halftime. The goal gave Oduro 12 on the season, which ties him with Landon Donovan for third-most in the league.
With three games remaining in its season, Chicago next faces FC Dallas in league play on Oct. 12.
What do you think of the Fire's draw with the Dynamo? Expecting Chicago to reach the playoffs? Surprised Oduro has enjoyed such a strong year?
