College Soccer: Championship Sunday (Match Day Commentary)

The NCAA men's college soccer season wraps up pre-NCAA Tournament play today on what is essentially conference championship Sunday, with most of the country's biggest conference crowning champions today.

The Big East, ACC and Big Ten are among the conferences that are holding championship games today, and along with the conference titles up for grabs, there are also the automatic NCAA berths that go along with them.

Here are the matches you can watch on TV  (or the internet) today:

Noon– ESPNU- ACC Final (North Carolina vs. Boston College)

Noon– BigTen Network(610 on DirecTV)-Big Ten Final (Northwestern vs. Penn State)

Noon– CBS Sports Network (613 on DirecTV)- Big East Final (UConn vs. St. John's)

1pm– ESPN3.com- Southern Conference Championship (Elon vs. UNC-Greensboro)

2pm– ESPN3- Missouri Valley Conference (Creighton vs. Missouri State)

  1. Im a Union fan so I have the misfortune of listening to Twellman every game. Its painful…he is soooo negative all the time….his whiney voice makes it hard to listen to….

  2. NIU 1-0 of Western Michigan who knocked off Akron in the semis. I assume Akron will get an at large bid along w/ NIU’s automatic bid.

  3. I was at the Creighton Bluejay game! Partly cloudy and freezing conditions…very windy.
    Bluejays played a possession style game and Missouri State substituted every 5 minutes!!
    Bluejays win the MVC Championship 1 to Nil!! Last I heard Missouri State was still substituting during the trophy presentation.
