The St. John's Red Storm won their record ninth Big East title on Sunday as Jack Bennett converted a turnover into a golden goal to give the Red Storm a 1-0 victory in the Big East Championship Final at Red Bull Arena on Sunday.

St. John's was one of 20 teams to secure conference titles and the automatic NCAA berths that came with them on Sunday. Along with ACC champion North Carolina, which rolled past Boston College in the ACC Final, we saw unbeaten New Mexico and Creighton among the national powers to add conference crowns to their trophy cases.

New Mexico, the lone remaining unbeaten team in the nation, needed penalty kicks to knock off Cal State-Bakersfield in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Final.

Creighton avenged one of its two regular season losses, riding a goal from freshman Jose Ribas to register a 1-0 victory over Missouri State in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship Final.

The NCAA Tournament Field of 48 will be announced on Monday afternoon.
