#11 and #9 stood out to me as dangerous players
Why would NYRB play him, he’s awful.
Leave the Baby Bull alone! #4 is Sacir Hot, a HG from the Red Bulls. He got exactly zero minutes this year. I don’t even remember him making the bench at RBA.
From that video it looked to me Bruin was more dangerous than Salgado.
Watched Salgado live in a couple of reserve games this past year, and wasn’t very impressed-came away thinking much more highly of Long Tan, the Caps Chinese striker. I certainly didn’t see Salgado taking on defenders the way that he does in that video. Either he’s improved, he’s given freedom with GA that he didn’t get with Whitecaps reserves, or both. Quite honestly, before that video, I’d written him off as anything more than a very long term project for the Nats. Now wondering if I was wrong.
Omar looks very good. Whitecaps need to put him on the field. Poor USA defender #4 is responsible for two more goals, 4 from two games. Is the staff getting the message?
Impressed by Salgado. I didn’t get to watch many Whitecap games this year and the ones I did, he didn’t play. How did he look this year? I wish he had gotten more time.
GA missed a lot of opportunities and Volendam converted their two (or at least that’s what the highlights show.
Salgado has looked quite impressive in the highlights to the two games I’ve seen. You can see why he’s considered such a great prospect. We really need him to be properly nurtured because, by all signs, he could be a key contributor to the USMNT once he matures a bit more physically.
salgado = good
That is Kevin Alston I believe
It’s the little stuff like this that make me love this site.
who is number 12 on generation adidas?
Scoreline a bit deceiving…could have easily been 5-6 goals for US.
Amobi seemed like he was everywhere in that game. Still baffles me why he doesn’t get more starts for Philly. Maybe this year will be his year.
