Jermaine Jones might currently be serving a lengthy ban for Schalke 04, but that does not mean he will be without playing games until it is over.

In the midst of serving an eight-week suspension for stomping on an opponent's injured foot, Jones has been called into the U.S. men's national team camp by head coach Jurgen Klinsmann. Jones will join the U.S. team at the Home Depot Center, and his inclusion brings the total of players in camp to 22.

Jones will be available for selection for the Americans' upcoming friendlies against Venezuela in Glendale, Ariz. on Jan. 21 and versus Panama in Panama City four days later.

What do you think of Jones being added to the roster? Do you see him starting in either of the upcoming friendlies? Still cannot believe he was given an eight-week ban?

  1. When it comes to Jones you do not know anything. You are a ignorant troll. I have watched him play too. His role on the field is not to score goals, genius. His role is to pass the ball in the middle, move check to ball, help build up the attack, and defend. He does all of that good. He is not world class when he does it, but he is one of the best on the Nats who does it good. When you get, or when you show me proof of your degree in sports therapy and medicine then I will believe you. TROLL!!!!!!!!!
