It’s embarrassing to agree with Pele.
Have Xavi and Iniesta proved something that Messi hasn’t? Not a chance. Messi has led the Champions League in scoring for 3 years now.
Maradona and Pele had better teams, and worse competition. The world stage when they were in their prime was in no way what it is today.
And saying Messi doesnt perform with the national team is idiotic, he was the BEST player and instrumental in basically every single Argentina goal in the WC which was mind you the highest scoring team in the competition. Its not his fault his Defense and midfield suck
Some people have to find fault and musut be miserable no matter the beauty is put in front of them haha In the words of BA Baracus.. I pity the fools.
Yawn.
IS THIS SUPRISING TOO ANYONE? LA LIGA IS A TWO TEAM LEAGUE! I’M SURPRISED IT WASN’T 11-0!
There is no question that Messi is the best player in the world, but I agree with Pele. Messi can not be compared to Pele or even Maradona until he does something on the world stage. With all the talent that Argentina has there is literally no excuse.
This Messi kid has a future in the game.
Loved in the final goal were the defender goes down, no chance at the ball and Messi ignores him to finish the play and score. Way too many players would look for contact and the opportunity to go down there.
Another towering header from Messi…
God might be rooting for Tebow, but like Brady, Messi is family.
Yup.
God isn’t rooting for Tebow. He’s rooting for messi.
Nothing to say about Messi that hasn’t already been said, but damn. Watching him play is always a treat.
Malaga’s only goal was impressive too. What an angle.
Didn’t need Xavi and Iniesta any of those. Man, how are you supposed to guard that? He dribbles through the entire defense from anywhere on the field.
