Tevez golf

Inter Milan have stepped up their efforts to sign Carlos Tevez as the tumultuous transfer saga surrounding the controversial striker shows no signs of dissipating.

The Serie A giants have offered Manchester City more than $32 million to sign Tevez in the January transfer window. Inter president Massimo Moratti opened communication with the Premier League club after a possible deal with AC Milan crumbled at the last minute. Both Moratti and manager Claudio Ranieri said they might not need Tevez considering the rich run of form Inter are enjoying, but the offer still stands.

Tevez remains in Argentina after being ostracized from the team in September. He has not appeared for Manchester City since then and manager Roberto Mancini has made it clear Tevez will not play for the club again. Paris St.-Germain have also emerged as a possible target after they failed to sign Alexandre Pato.
