  1. Is not like they were super far from qualifying and in the toughest group vs Bayern, Napoli and well Villareal had injuries derail them but they weren’t exactly a walkover…

in a group with a not such a tough seeded team or not such a great surging Napoli team, maybe vs 1 great team and a weaker French or Portuguese team they make it…

But you’re right they are built very well for the EPL right now….

  2. Man City is built to be the ultimate EPL team but will flame out in all non-British competition (as we just saw). They have the quintessential defense to take care of the EPL style of play: huge defenders who are great in the air.

  3. While I’m glad Man City is now a man down (as a Red Dragons supporter), don’t think that is a second yellow on Barry and of course as I write there is instant Karma as Yaya is appeared to be tripped in the box. Well, guess “Chris” will get his wish.

    Cheers

  4. I think they were both somewhat overrated disasters, there’s a lot of people mentioning the new ball dipping too much or to the side on Aguero’s shot and wasn’t Guzan sort of forced into a fast pass/clearance?

But NE Matt is right, Guzan would be HELL a cheap compared to Reina and younger and they might actually sell some more merchandise get new fans in US? lol
