Soccer Wednesday: Your Running Commentary

It is a busy Wednesday in the international soccer world, as key friendlies across the globe give soccer fans plenty of great viewing options.

While we're sure you will be glued to the USA-Italy match this afternoon, there is plenty more to watch today. England-Netherlands is the showcase international in Europe, though Germany-France is probably the better match. Argentina and Spain are both in action today, and USA fans can see the Under-23 national team take on Mexico tonight.

  1. Mexico v Colombia match is very intense. Colombian goalie has already taken head and body shots. El Tri plays too many home games; it hurts them when they travel.

  2. Messi played well (as usual) but finally delivered his first hat-trick with ARG, but Aguero was key as well.
    The midfield still needs work, really missed Di Maria today

    Great win by Costa Rica in Wales. CONCACAF did well in Europe today.
