Fernando Clavijo is on his way back to MLS, in a different role from the ones he has held in the past.
An assistant coach and head coach in Major League Soccer for the better part of a decade, Clavijo was hired on Tuesday as FC Dallas' new technical director. The hiring ends Clavijo's run as executive director of soccer at Traffic Sports for the past three years.
A former head coach with New England and Colorado, Clavijo takes over a Dallas front office where head coach Schellas Hyndman has full control of player transactions.
So this is a boon to NASL?
Yeah sorry guys… as a rapids fan, I know exactly what clavijo brings and it aint pretty
Damn that dude looks like Bruce Arena.
AAAAAAND…FC Dallas regresses dramatically.
WTF is that?
Can you trust someone from Human Traffic Sports?
please excuse my naivety but what exactly does this guy bring to the table? when/where has he been successful off the field?
Not sure this will work. Clavijo is use to being incharge of things as is Shellas. I think we could see some issues. I hope I am wrong because FCD could use some help with the loss of Pareja who help with bringing in some of the South American players they have
