Okay folks, after tallying the votes and getting reader feedback on which Fantasy MLS game to go with this year, we at SBI will be running our annual Fantasy MLS League on the new official game on the official league website.

We have heard plenty of good things about the new game, with the only drawback (for some) being the fact you have to sign up for the site through your Facebook account.

Here is the link to join our league. The league code for the SBI league is 6220-1240.

If you are not a fan of the new official league game, we will have an alternate league over at www.mfls.com. You can join the Soccer By Ives league, with the league's password being "sbimls".

Sign up in time to join us for the opening MLS weekend as we all begin to do battle on the fantasy field during what should be an exciting year in MLS.

  1. The normal division size limit was reached so the division automatically closed. Ives needs to simply send a request to have the division size expanded (send a message on the contact page at MFLS). This was done the previous two years, but for some reason has not been done yet this year.

  2. just wanted to let you know that the MFLS group has been closed automatically at 25 people. if you send a request to them via the contact page they will open it so sign ups can continue.

  3. No, most their revenue is from advertising (yes it may be personalized to your prefrences, how awful lol)….and if you’re really that paranoid just make a fake email account with yahoo or something, and don’t use your real name or information when you sign up for your facebook acount with that email. Problem solved.

  4. Yea man, from how I understand it when you are setting your lineup simply sub in a mid for a defender and it will automatically switch your formation. Same goes for forward etc. Hope this helps!

  5. I don’t have a facebook account either. It’s really stupid of them to only use facebook for logins. Some of us, who are perfectly tech savvy, prefer not to use services whose sole purpose is to collect our private data and sell it to 3rd parties. So rather than calling us idiots, you should be pointing the finger at the people that built the mls fantasy page and didn’t offer their own login process.

  6. Ok, I thought I was internet savvy, but this it’s getting the best of me:

On MLSSOCCER.COM, can you play a 3-5-2 or a 3-4-3? All of the tips I see on the MLS site have guys playing with 3 in the back, but I can’t find where to change this.

    Any help would be great.
