Awesome celebration
He’s backing off because he’s not a great defender. Looks like he made a rookie mistake. Whether or not he is indeed a rookie is another issue.
Shoot. Great strike. But judging by his first touch I doubt we’ll see that again from him.
2nd that.
poor defending… why is 21 backing off… it’s on the edge of the 18 that is shooting territory for any major league player except maybe Nyassi
You’re saying Kimura’s prefect cross to Moor, who duly buried it for the first goal right before the half, was _not_ a highlight of the game, in your mind?
Then there was that Pickens save, as well…
Even John Strong?
Not really. Sarcastic “nice”… I thought “The Seizure” comment made that clear.
Really?! I thought that celebration was terrible. GREAT hit on that goal, though…
I hate American Soccer Commentators critics. Just admit it. You prefer the British accent during commentary.
Also, it looks empyt cause it was in the last 5 mins, and tons of people were trying to get out to beat traffic. That happens all the time, but it’s stupid at rapids games because the lots are very well designed and it never takes long to get out anyway
I was there too, and it was awesome. Part of the unfortunate thing about the Rapids is that they still attract a lot of soccer moms and kids, but I do sense more and more rowdy hooligan types coming in as time goes on. I happened to be sitting in a bad section with a lot of kids and moms, and it’s harder to get in to the craziness and fun when you’re in that spot. But, nevertheless, great time and great game. Rapids are gonna be good this year.
15K were there but that stadium look and felt full. I was there. It was a great atmosphere and nice and loud. It felt like a new leaf was turning over in terms of the quality of attendance — in other words it was not a sit on your hands crowd.
DSP absolutely erupted when the ball hit the back of the net. It was a wonderful strike. Definitely not one we were expecting especially from Quincy!! That was the second highlight of the game. The first being the giant Colorado flag tifo displayed right before kickoff. Great win. Great crowd. Phenomenal goal.
Agreed — hate being left to guess just how close to the upper corner that really was (and how far the keeper’s fingers were from tipping it).
Nice celebration… “The Seizure”?
Too bad the TV crew doesn’t know where cameras need to be located for soccer. None of the angles do it justice.
at DSGP 14,500 is a very comfortable crowd. I prefer 15-17,000 to 19,000+ in that stadium.
that last 3-5,000 of filler people are usually very annoying!
Great goal for Amarikwa! A lot of his’ critics are finally shutting up.
i hate american soccer commentators
We’re you there cabrito?
Too bad there weren’t many there to see it.
Good goal. Horrible first touch though.
Cap…him…?
Thank goodness for mute. Fantastic goal.
WELL DONE, SIR!
