In three years in MLS, David Estrada had never scored a single goal in MLS play.
On Saturday, he took a major step toward making up for that drought, scoring a hat-trick to help Seattle post a 3-1 victory against Toronto FC. A performance that made Estrada the easy choice for SBI MLS Player of the Week.
Estrada beat out a field of Player of the Week contenders that included Sporting KC striker Kei Kamara, Seattle teammate Alvaro Fernandez and Real Salt Lake's Fabian Espindola.
