I actually thought that was really good officiating. The referee went and talked with the assistant and they arrived at the correct decision. No need to make fun.
From the looks of the highlights it seems like Japan dominated this game. They *do* play an absolutely beautiful game of footy; they remind me a little of Barca in the way they move the ball.
Alex Morgan is definitely the next great American goal scorer. She has all the tools to be a spectacular player.
Shannon Boxx looks like she has lost a few steps over the years. I think it’s well past time that Lori Lindsey takes the starting position in the defensive midfield.
