Enjoy the action.

  1. TFC look much improved with Frings and Cann back in the lineup. Lambe and Johnson were great also.

Chicago has elite talent this season. It looks like the Magic Man has found his stride in MLS.

  2. If that Olave red is a true red than a defender stands no chance when in a 1v1 situation. All the offensive player has to do is lean into his defender and fall over while grabbing his opponents uniform. Red card as simple as that? Most fans would say that was not a red card.

  3. The ref earned this one for SJ. SJ fans have to know that this was a fight with their opponent fighting with one hand behind their back and then with both. RSL fans will relish the rematch and so will Jason Kreis.

  4. 99% percent of the impartial soccer fans out there are going to agree with RSL fans that the ref stunk it up! But I would’nt be so proud as a quakes fan, it took 2 guys up, and 6 minutes of stoppage at home to get a victory. That’s embarasing!

  5. you mean the one time he has dived all year? probably not, i think he will have to dive a little bit more often to upset the coach

  6. i was at the game behind the rsl goal and had a perfect view of the red and it was without a doubt a foul. olave clearly pushed him down

  7. The problem is not that a referee has a “bad” game on any given night, it’s that so many different referees have bad nights on any given night and the same ones have great games on any other given night. You just never know who – Jekyll or Hyde – is going to show up.

  8. Yes, he did have a good game. It’s great to have someone like that on a team. He never gives up, and knows how to make the adjustment (playing farther back or higher up)and lead the team when they’re down a man.

  9. How long do people think Winter will be around? CCL, their only positive, was ended with emphasis by Santos. If it was me he’d be gone with their record, his odd tactical choices, and their seeming inability to churn out 90 minute results even when spotted a lead like Saturday…..but I would think their Montreal Canada Champs series would be telling….if you’re behind a pretty bad expansion team in MLS, and can’t even beat them in the domestic Cup….
