MLS Week 5: Your Running Commentary

MLS Logo

A pair of rivalries, one in Canada and one in the Rocky Mountains, headline today's MLS action as Week 5 kicks off with seven matches on the schedule.

Toronto FC have made the short trip to Montreal to take on the Impact at Olympic Stadium in the first meeting of these Canadian rivals as MLS foes. Neither team has won a match this season so there should be even more intensity in this derby as two teams desperate for points square off.

The Rocky Mountain Cup resumes tonight with Real Salt Lake taking on the Colorado Rapids in a battle of 3-1 teams. RSL are coming off a thrilling comeback win against Portland, while Colorado posted an impressive 2-0 victory against the Chicago Fire in Week 4.

The match of the day will be taking place at Livestrong Sporting Park, where Sporting Kansas City will take on the struggling Los Angeles Galaxy. David Beckham is out for LA, but Landon Donovan is back and will look to help the Galaxy snap out of an early-season funk.
