Red Bulls vs. Revolution: Match Day Commentary

New York Red Bulls Logo

Eastern Conference rivals New York and New England face off today at Red Bull Arena in a match-up of teams trying to break out of recent slumps (3:30pm, NBC Sports).

The Red Bulls come in off an embarrassing 4-1 loss to D.C. United while New England comes in off a bye week after dropping their own 2-1 decision to D.C. United two weeks ago.

The Red Bulls (3-3-1) come into the match seriously short-handed, with three of four regular starters on the back-line hurt. Joel Lindpere is back in the lineup for New York, while the forward tandem of Thierry Henry and Kenny Cooper leads the attack.

For New England (2-4), the lineup is a solid one with the forward tandem of Saer Sene and Jose Moreno looking to take advantage of New York's patch-work defense.
