The Houston Dynamo's long wait for a home to call their own is finally over.

All eyes will be on the Dynamo this weekend as they open BBVA Compass Stadium, the league's latest soccer-specific venue, with a match against D.C. United in front of a national audience on NBC Sports Network. And the game itself shouldn't be half bad either, with the top two finishers from last year's MVP voting, United's Dwayne De Rosario and Houston's Brad Davis, going head to head.

Elsewhere, the Seattle Sounders and Real Salt Lake will meet in a clash of Western Conference heavyweights at CenturyLink Field. And the New York Red Bulls will make the quick trip down Interstate 95 for a Mid-Atlantic rivalry game against the Philadelphia Union.

Here is a rundown of the full Week 10 slate:

MONTREAL IMPACT vs. LOS ANGELES GALAXY (Saturday, 4 p.m., TSN)

Count on an electric atmosphere at Olympic Stadium for this one, as more than 60,000 could be in attendance to see the expansion Impact take on David Beckham, Robbie Keane and the rest of the Galaxy's star-studded roster.

This match will mark Montreal goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts' first game against his old team since the Galaxy traded him this past offseason. Can he and the Impact make it three wins in a row?

HOUSTON DYNAMO vs. D.C. UNITED (Saturday, 4:30 p.m., NBC Sports)

Houston's long-awaited homecoming will be particularly welcome following a seven-game road trip to start the season. Although the Dynamo went a respectable 2-3-2 during that stretch, they are winless in their past five.

With Emiliano Dudar, Dejan Jakovic and Ethan White likely still sidelined, United coach Ben Olsen could again deploy midfielder Andy Najar at right back and Daniel Woolard at centerback as a part of his squad's makeshift defense.

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION vs. VANCOUVER WHITECAPS (Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Direct Kick)

Considering the Whitecaps have recorded a league-leading five shutouts and the Revolution have been held without a goal in four of their seven games, it could be a tall task for the home side to get much going offensively in this contest.

After Sebastien Le Toux scored twice and Davide Chiumiento notched three assists in a midweek Canadian Championship win over FC Edmonton, the Whitecaps will hope those two will be able to carry that form into league play.

COLUMBUS CREW vs. FC DALLAS (Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Direct Kick)

A year after Dallas and Columbus flamed out of the playoffs in the wild-card round, neither side has gotten off to the greatest of starts this season, as both teams are mired in five-game winless stretches.

For Dallas, a return to the starting lineup for Brek Shea, who has been dealing with a toe injury and only played 20 minutes midweek against Seattle, would be a massive boost.

CHICAGO FIRE vs. SPORTING KANSAS CITY (Saturday, 8:30 p.m., Direct Kick)

After kicking off the season with a remarkable seven-game winning streak, Kansas City has fallen back a bit, dropping back-to-back contests, including a 2-0 decision at home to expansion Montreal.

Against Chicago, might Kansas City coach Peter Vermes stray from his default starting lineup in an attempt to give his side a spark? He does have a slew of talented players on the bench, including Teal Bunbury, Jacob Peterson, Paulo Nagamura and rookie Dom Dwyer.

SEATTLE SOUNDERS vs. REAL SALT LAKE (Saturday, 10:00 p.m., Direct Kick)

While Houston's stadium opening will get the most buzz, this rematch of a hotly contested Western Conference semifinal last year — won 3-2 on aggregate by Salt Lake — is the weekend's most enticing matchup.

For Salt Lake's vaunted back line, the emphasis will be on slowing down Seattle striker Fredy Montero, who has bagged three goals and an assist in his past three games.

PHILADELPHIA UNION vs. NEW YORK RED BULLS (Sunday, 12:30 p.m., ESPN2 TSN2)

Deploying a patchwork back line the past three games, the Red Bulls have shockingly grinded out three consecutive 1-0 wins while leaning on stellar performances from rookie goalkeeper Ryan Meara.

The Union, on the other hand, have lost back-to-back games after piecing together a three-game unbeaten run. Perhaps a midweek friendly win over German side Schalke 04 will give the team a bit of momentum.

SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES vs. CHIVAS USA (Sunday, 7 p.m., Galavision)

Prospects in this one don't look terribly promising for Chivas, who have lost three straight and have scored a league-low five goals in nine games this season. The Earthquakes, on the other hand, boast the league's most prolific attack, with 21 goals in 10 matches.

If Chivas are going to grab another result on the road, where they are 3-1-0 this season, they'll have to stop San Jose forward Chris Wondolowski, whose 11 goals lead MLS.
