SBI MLS Player of the Week: Dwayne De Rosario

Dwayne De Rosario came up with two-game winning goals this past week, and his performances in wins over the Colorado Rapids and Toronto FC made him the easy pick for SBI's MLS Player of the Week award.

The reigning MLS MVP began his solid week by scoring the winner in D.C. United's 2-0 victory over the Rapids on Wednesday, and he followed that up with a two-goal performance in a 3-1 triumph over struggling Toronto FC on Saturday. The first of the two goals against Toronto FC came less than a minute into the match, and it set the tone for United's win.

De Rosario beat out the likes of Sporting Kansas City forward Teal Bunbury and New England Revolution striker Saer Sene (both bagged braces in 2-2 draws this weekend) for the award.

What do you think of De Rosario's performance? Think someone else should have won the award?
