Euro 2012: Matchday Nine (Group A)

Euro2012

Poland fans have realized a dream in watching their country host the European Championships, and their national team isn't ready to see that dream end.

The Polish national team has its fate in its own hands, with a win today against the Czech Republic securing a place in the knockout rounds. The Poles have settled for two draws in the first two matches, but need a victory today to keep going.

Russia is in control of the group, and can clinch first place with a victory against underdog Greece. The Greeks can turn the group on its head though, with a victory catapulting them ahead of the Russians. Beating Russia won't be easy, especially not with an attack that has produced five goals through two matches.

Here is the viewing schedule for today's Euro 2012 matches:

  1. Greece is not pretty when they play, but they got the job done. If they face Germany in the Q’s does it become a grudge match over austerity measures and the Euro?

  2. I can’t believe that bad Greek team made it through. Poland really blew it when they couldn’t put them away in the first match.

  4. I would absolutely believe that.

Officiating has been great so far except for both Greece games and both times Greece has been horribly misdone.

  5. Wow if you told me someone was fixing matches against Greece I wouldn’t hesitate in believing that.

    This is frankly pathetic.
