The New York Red Bulls have grown accustomed to playing without their biggest names this season, and it appears that they'll have to do so again when they resume play after the international break.

Coach Hans Backe told reporters that Designated Players Thierry Henry and Rafa Marquez will sit out the club's two-game road trip to Chicago and Vancouver. Henry is dealing with a calf strain that he reportedly suffered while training during the break, while Marquez was hurt on international duty with Mexico.

Backe's hope is that they are fit to return for the June 24 match at Red Bull Arena against D.C. United, one that will have big implications atop the Eastern Conference standings. The two are currently 1-2 in the standings, with D.C. leading New York by a point. The Red Bulls, however, have two games in hand and have started to find their identity with Henry and Marquez out during the course of the season with other ailments and suspensions.
