Toronto FC's resurgence continues and the New York Red Bulls were the latest team to find that out.

Toronto extended its unbeaten streak to four games with a 1-1 draw against the Red Bulls at BMO Field on Saturday night. Jan Gunnar Solli and Danny Koevermans exchanged early goals in a game that seemed destined to be a shootout, but neither team found the back of the net the rest of the way.

The Red Bulls took a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute when Brandon Barklage one-timed a cross into the penalty area that Solli knocked home for his second MLS goal in as many games.

Solli may still have been thinking of the goal two minutes later, as he allowed Koevermans to break free from him on a corner kick. The unmarked Toronto FC striker proceeded by thundering home the ball curled in by Torsten Frings to pull the hosts level.

Both teams settled for mostly half-chances after that and the result was them splitting the points. But bad news came for the Red Bulls in second half stoppage time, as defender Heath Pearce went down with a hamstring injury that will require a scan to determine its severity.
