Valencia tops Dynamo in friendly

Valencia's stop in the United States has proven quite successful.

More than a week after defeating the Portland Timbers, the Spanish club beat the Houston Dynamo, 2-1, in a friendly on Thursday night. Valencia rode two early goals from forward Aritz Aduriz to victory against a mostly first-choice Dynamo team in front of a soldout crowd of 22,039 at BBVA Compass Stadium.

Aduriz, who scored the lone goal in Valencia's 1-0 win over Portland, gave the visitors an early lead when he found the back of the net in the second minute. Houston equalized in the 14th minute through Calen Carr, but the celebration was shortlived as Aduriz knocked in the winner three minutes later.

What do you think of the Dynamo losing to Valencia? Impressed by Aduriz?
