Dynamo grab late draw with Crew to stay undefeated at home

The Columbus Crew were minutes away from handing the Houston Dynamo their first MLS defeat inside of BBVA Compass Stadium, but a late Adam Moffat goal made sure to keep the Dynamo unbeaten at home.

Moffat scored in the 82nd minute to help the Dynamo pick up a 2-2 draw with the Columbus Crew on Sunday, a result that ties Houston with the Chicago Fire for third place in the Eastern Conference. Columbus goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum got his hands on the shot, but he made a mess of it and allowed the ball to get away and cross the goal-line.

Moffat's goal canceled out Eddie Gaven's second-half strike in a match that marked Crew Designated Player Federico Higuain's debut and Ricardo Clark's first game back in Houston as a member of the Dynamo.

Spectacular first-half goals were exchanged, as Brad Davis netted a beautiful opener for the hosts before Cole Grossman pulled the Crew level shortly after the half-hour mark.
