Arsenal and Liverpool face off this weekend in one of the marquee match-ups of a loaded weekend of European soccer action, with each club looking for its first victory of the new campaign.

Arsenal have yet to score a goal, while Liverpool will be looking to build off a hard-fought 2-2 draw with title holders Manchester City. The Gunners are still looking for summer signing Olivier Giroud to find goal-scoring form.

Italian giants Inter Milan and AS Roma will meet for an early-season headlining clash at the Giuseppe Meazza. Inter came out with a victory last weekend, but Roma barely escaped with a point after settling for a 2-2 draw against lowly Catania. I Lupi will be looking to right the ship, while Inter will try to remain undefeated.

Fresh off of its Champions League group stage berth, Malaga C.F. travel to Real Zaragoza in La Liga action. After finishing fourth in Spain last season, Los Boquerones are intent on building from last year’s success and developing good form early in the season.

Here is a closer look at all the action in Europe's top leagues this weekend:

ENGLAND

Goal-happy Swansea City will take on Sunderland on Saturday. The Swans have hit the back of the net eight times in two matches and have enjoyed two clean sheets from keeper Michel Vorm. The Black Cats have bolstered their attack ahead of the closing transfer window, adding winger Adam Johnson from Manchester City and Luis Saha from Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton will take a trip to the Hawthorns to play West Bromwich Albion, hoping to continue its red-hot start. The Toffees drubbed Leyton Orient in the second round of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday, staying undefeated in all competitions on the season. West Brom have gotten off to a positive start as well however, defeating Liverpool 3-0 in the opener and battling to a 1-1 draw with Spurs last weekend.

Here are this weekend's Premier League matches:

SATURDAY

Swansea City vs. Sunderland

West Bromwich Albion vs. Everton

West Ham United v Fulham

Tottenham Hotspur v Norwich City

Wigan Athletic v Stoke City

Manchester City v Queens Park Rangers

SUNDAY

Liverpool vs. Arsenal

Newcastle United v Aston Villa

Southampton v Manchester United

ITALY

AC Milan suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Sampdoria last weekend, so they will be out for blood against Bologna. In their season opener, Milan had 23 shots, seven of which were on target and none of which went into the net. Look for I Rossoneri to be more clinical finishers this weekend.

Udinese will try to get back on track against Scudetto holders Juventus. Udinese lost their first match of the Serie A campaign, and then got booted from the Champions League by Braga during the week. It has been a tough seven days for them, and playing the Old Lady doesn’t make things much better, but with a striker like Antonio Di Natale in the squad, good form is one strike away.

Here are this weekend's Serie A matches:

SATURDAY:

Torino v US Pescara

SUNDAY:

Cagliari v Atalanta

Catania v Genoa

Lazio v Palermo

Napoli v Fiorentina

Parma v Chievo Verona

Sampdoria v Siena

SPAIN

Barcelona and Valenica will play in a matchup of Champions League sides. Barca will want to take out frustrations after losing to archrival Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup, while Valencia is looking for its first win of the season.

Surprise table-toppers Rayo Vallecano is playing host to Sevilla FC on Sunday. Rayo comes into the match with wins against Betis and Granada under its belt, but Sevilla should prove stiffer competition. This will also be the first test for Sevilla, who defeated Getafe and settled for a draw against Granada.

Here are this weekend's La Liga matches:

SATURDAY

Celta Vigo v Osasuna

Deportivo La Coruna v Getafe

Mallorca v Real Sociedad

SUNDAY

Athletic Bilbao v Valladolid

Levante v Espanyol

Real Madrid v Granada

GERMANY

Two-time defending Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund will be tested on the road against Nurnberg on Saturday. These two clubs took three points each from opening weekend and appear to be in good form, so this should be an interesting fixture.

Bayern Munich will be in action against VfB Stuttgart on Sunday. Munich is coming off a comprehensive 3-0 beat down over SpVgg Greuther Furth, while Stuttgart fell at the hands of VfL Wolfsburg. Stuttgart is in search of its first points of the season, but it will be difficult to beat Munich at home.

Here are this weekend's Bundesliga matches:

TODAY

Mainz v SpVgg Greuther Furth

SATURDAY

Bayern Leverkusen v FC Freiburg

Schalke 04 v FC Augsburg

TSG Hoffenheim v Eintracht Frankfurt

Werder Bremen

Fortuna Dusseldorf v Borussia Monchengladbach
