BRIDGEVIEW, IL- The Chicago Fire's match on Saturday didn't start like they would have wanted, but Chris Rolfe's heroics kept the Fire's hot streak rolling.

Jairo Arrieta pounced on a bad Sean Johnson pass to give the Crew a lead just 15 minutes into the match, but the Fire responded with a pair of goals from Rolfe in the 23rd and 26th minute to give Chicago a 2-1 victory at Toyota Park on Saturday night.

The win pushed the Fire's winning streak to four matches, and improved their record to 7-1 in their past eight matches. The victory also sets up a clash for first place on Friday against Sporting Kansas City at Livestrong Sporting Park. The fire trail Sporting KC by two points.

Johnson made up for his early-game blunder with some important saves in the second half to preserve the victory and strengthen Chicago's hold on second place in the East.

The loss hurts the Crew's chances of earning a playoff spot. They now sit one point behind fifth-place Houston, and two points behind fourth-place D.C. United in the East playoff race, with both D.C. United and Houston set to play on Sunday.
