Revolution bring back Dorman

The New England Revolution have re-signed Welsh midfielder Andy Dorman, re-uniting him with the club five years after he left Major League Soccer to ply his trade in Europe.

Dorman, 30, spent four seasons with the Revs, from 2004 to 2007, and played on three MLS Cup finalists from 2005 to 2007. He was also a part of New England’s U.S. Open Cup-winning side in 2007.

Dorman left MLS after the 2007 season to sign with Scottish club St. Mirren, where he stayed for parts of three years before joining English side Crystal Palace for two seasons.

Dorman joins a crowded New England midfield that includes Lee Nguyen, Benny Feilhaber, Kelyn Rowe, Juan Toja and Diego Fagundez.
