The main question on everyone’s mind in the run up to Barcelona vs. Paris Saint-Germain (2:45pm, Fox Soccer Channel) is “will Lionel Messi play?”

The Argentine limped off the field at half time of the first leg and hasn’t played since, but Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova announced on Tuesday that whether Messi plays will be determined just before the teams arrive at the Camp Nou. (He is on the bench today).

If he doesn’t play, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and PSG will be liking their chances of stealing a result on the road.

The wildcard match of the day will take place in Turin, Italy, when Juventus hosts Bayern Munich (2:45pm, Fox Soccer Plus/MSG+). Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic found his scoring boots last Saturday, scoring twice in his side’s win, but Bayern Munich are nearly unbeatable this season, and have not failed to win on the road since mid-November.

Juventus will be a bit shorthanded as they look to reverse a 2-0 aggregate scoreline against the newly crowned Bundesliga champions. Arturo Vidal and Sebastian Giovinco two of four players who will miss out on the all-important second leg match for the Italian side.
