The Seattle Sounders will have it all to do when they take the field at the Estadio Corona in Torreon, Mexico, trailing 1-0 on aggregate. The Sounders were given the weekend off by Major League Soccer which should give them a chance to rest and re-focus towards their second-leg match against Liga MX side Santos Laguna in the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals (8pm, Fox Soccer Channel).

Santos are scalding hot, unbeaten in six straight matches, but they weren’t afforded the same rest that the Sounders received this weekend. Santos played to a scoreless draw on Sunday against Xolos in Tijuana. Herculez Gomez, the goalscorer in the first-leg, started and played 56 minutes before being taken off.

While the Sounders will be missing Brad Evans and Obafemi Martins, they’ll welcome back Eddie Johnson from injury and goalkeeper Michael Gspurning from suspension.
