Taking advantage of a rare starting opportunity, San Jose Earthquakes rookie forward showed why he might deserve a regular place in the team.

Jahn played all 90 minutes and lead his team to a 2-2 draw with the Montreal Impact, earning him this week’s SBI MLS Rookie of the Week. It’s the second time this season that Jahn has won the award.

Jahn scored one goal as the Earthquakes came back from two goals down, and nearly scored another in the first half when he hit the crossbar. The 15th overall selection in the 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft has now scored three goals this season, including two in the last three matches. Honorable mentions for this week’s award include LA Galaxy defender Greg Cochrane, Colorado Rapids midfielder Dillon Powers, and Real Salt Lake forward Devon Sandoval.

What did you make of Jahn’s performance against the Impact? Which rookie impressed you the most in MLS Week Ten?
