The U.S. Men’s National Team resumes CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying action tonight in Kingston when they face Jamaica in a vital match for both sides.

The U.S. have never won a qualifier in Jamaica, sporting an 0-4-1 record in five previous World Cup qualifiers played on the Caribbean island.

Jamaica have a tough task though, with several regular starters missing due to injuries, particularly in the back-line. The ‘Reggae Boyz’ inexperience on defense could prove costly against a U.S. attack that enters the match riding some confidence garnered after a 4-3 win vs. Germany last Sunday.

The U.S. have accrued four points from three qualifiers so far, and can give themselves a major boost with a road win tonight that would push them closer to the top of the CONCACAF HEX standings, as well as strike a critical blow to Jamaica’s chances of qualifying.
