Manchester United released their latest home kit design for next season on Wednesday, featuring a solid red jersey with a black collar.
The official club release states that the return to the black collar is in homage to the late 1990s United teams, including the ones where Eric Cantona famously wearing his uniform with the collar up.
The shorts are a full white and are combined with black socks with one red and white stripe making for a clean and classic look.
What do you think of the uniforms? Like the look?

What’s with all the uni hate? I love seeing the new jerseys for any team. Of course, I’m thrilled to see my Red Devils, but I even have a soft spot in my <3 for those fugly Scouse kits!
The shirt looks like it’s from a 19th century military uniform.
Ives, are you getting money for pimping out these EPL kits?
Hate the thin black collar and the stripe on the sock. Like how the shirts looks and fits.

Meet the new kit…same as the old kit.
Srsly, how is this newsworthy? Is this soccerbyives or soccer.com?
Yeah not digging the updates on jerseys, I think the fans of their respective teams get into that, but most people don’t care about every big team’s jersey.
Dig the black collar.
How about some real news instead of articles on the new home, away, and third shirts of every damn Premier League team?
Meh. Maybe it’l grow on me. But nothing beats lasts season’s jersey with the Scottish plaid print in the design in honor of Sir Alex. #pureclass
Let me guess…red?
rooney is on the edge so he can be photo shopped out after a transfer this summer…
Evra is supposed to be off to Monaco as well…
Well you all most got it right, Ives. This is NOT the new home kit, it is the new TRAINING kit. Man U has a new shirts sponsor for the 13/14 season:

However, AON will continue to sponsor a jersey for the training grounds, they will also sponsor the Man U training grounds, but not the EPL jersey, which is now sponsored by Chevrolet. who paid in the range of 350M and got the account executive who signed the deal for Chevy, fired.
Actually it is the NEW home kit. Chevrolet sponsorship doesn’t begin until 2014-2015 season.
