A pair of top-two clashes in Major League Soccer will highlight a busy Saturday night of action from all over the country.

Saturday night’s action will kick off in Kansas City with a massive Eastern Conference showdown between Sporting KC and the New York Red Bulls. First-place SKC will be looking to cap off an incredible week of All-Star festivities with a win over the second-place Red Bulls, undefeated in their last three matches.

Out West, the 2013 Rocky Mountain Cup will be decided in tonight’s battle between surging second-place Colorado Rapids and first-place Real Salt Lake. A home win for Colorado Rapids would bring the two rivals level for first place in the Western Conference, where just five points separate the top team and the playoff bubble.

Elsewhere in the Western Conference, two sides needing a victory for their respective playoff bids will square off at CenturyLink Field. After a crazy 24 hours of Clint Dempsey transfer news, the Seattle Sounders have scheduled a special presentation shortly before kickoff against FC Dallas.

Here is a rundown of tonight’s MLS schedule:

6:30pm – NBC Sports Network – Sporting Kansas City vs New York Red Bulls

7:30pm – MLS Direct Kick – D.C. United vs Montreal Impact

8pm – MLS Direct Kick – Philadelphia Union vs Chicago Fire

8:30pm – MLS Direct Kick – Colorado Rapids vs Real Salt Lake

9pm – MLS Direct Kick – Houston Dynamo vs Columbus Crew

10:30pm – MLS Direct Kick – Seattle Sounders vs FC Dallas
