On Sunday, at least three Americans could take the field in a Liga MX match.
Club Tijuana travels to struggling Puebla looking to win their first league road match of the season. Assuming all are fit, the game could feature Edgar Castillo starting for Club Tijuana, while Michael Orozco and DaMarcus Beasley could start for Puebla. Beasley missed La Franja’s last match, a 0-0 draw with Tigres UANL, with injury, but returned to training this week.
In addition, Herculez Gomez scored a hat-trick in his Xolos debut in the CONCACAF Champions League and is finally fit after recovering from knee surgery, and fellow forward Paul Arriola has been a regular substitute off the bench in league matches.
Elsewhere in Liga MX this weekend, Santos Laguna host second-place Morelia, Club Leon travel to Cruz Azul, and Queretaro host Tigres.

You know Torres (and Bornstein) plays for Tigres… how about showing him some love.
No s**t, right? Especially considering it’s a Friday game on ESPN. I can’t say I watched it, but it was on at a bar I was at last night.
