André Villas-Boas will be looking for his first victory against his former club on Saturday morning, when Tottenham welcome Chelsea to White Hart Lane.
The Portuguese manager has earned a point in two meetings against Chelsea since taking over at Tottenham, but he will be hoping an improved side from last year will manifest into three points come Saturday. The match also marks the first time Villas-Boas will face his former mentor Jose Mourinho on the touchline, a meeting he will surely relish come kickoff.
On Sunday, Roma will attempt to stay perfect on the season when they host Bologna. Roma have managed to take max points from their first five matches of the season, while their adversaries this weekend sit just a point above the drop zone. The start to Bologna’s season has been the complete opposite of Roma’s, but they will love the opportunity to hand The Wolves their first defeat of the season.
