Norwich City’s defenders will surely be seeing Luis Suarez in their nightmares tonight.

The Liverpool striker put on a world-class display on Wednesday evening at Anfield, scoring a first half hat-trick and finishing the match with four incredible goals to his name. Curiously, Suarez has become the first ever English Premier League player to score three hat-tricks against one opponent.

Suarez opened up his scoring account with a legitimate goal-of-the-year candidate goal in the 15th minute, unleashing a bending strike with the outside of his right boot from 40 yards away. The Uruguayan then, as if attracted to the ball like a magnet, met a corner kick inside the six yard box and hammered home in the 29th minute to double the lead.

In the 35th minute, Suarez completed his hat-trick with another top-notch goal, flicking the ball over helpless Norwich midfielder Leroy Fer before taking another shot on the half-volley into the bottom corner. Suarez rounded off his spectacular day with a brilliantly taken free kick in the 74th minute.
