One of Italy’s most famous rivalries is the star of This Weekend’s Soccer on TV.
The Milan derby takes place on Sunday with Inter Milan “hosting” AC Milan at the San Siro, though the match will be missing some of it’s usual terrific atmosphere with the closure of the Inter ultras section by the Italian sporting authorities. Inter started the season very well but has won just once in its last five matches. Meanwhile, Milan is mired in 10th place in Serie A and nearly lost at home last week to AS Roma.
Elsewhere around the world, Bayern Munich looks to add the FIFA Club World Cup to the trophy cabinet when they face hosts Raja Casablanca in the final. The German and European champions defeated Guangzhou Evergrande to make it to the final, while Raja shocked South American champions Atletico Mineiro in the semifinals.
Other matches to watch this weekend include Southampton vs. Tottenham, AS Monaco vs. Valenciennes, and Valencia vs. Real Madrid.

Dreadful matches. Maybe I’ll look for the Milan derby, but the rest are unappealing.
