While Week 1 was lacking in big-time matches, Week 2 brings a number of must-see games for Liga MX fans to keep an eye on.
Leading the bunch are perennial top teams Cruz Azul and Santos Laguna facing off, with both La Maquina and Los Guerreros looking for their first win of the Clausura campaign. Unfortunately, due to fan violence, the game will be played in front of an empty stadium.
Elsewhere in Mexico, Club Tijuana welcomes in former head coach Antonio Mohamed to the Estadio Caliente when Club America visits Friday. America opened the season with a 3-0 rout of Tigres UANL, while Xolos continue to struggle to score. Other matches to watch this weekend include Toluca vs. Morelia and Club Leon vs. Atlas.
