If you were a fan of the “MLS Insider” documentary series that debuted last season, some good news has arrived.

MLS announced on Tuesday that the acclaimed weekly feature will be back in 2014. The series, produced by eight-time Emmy award winners Hock Films, is presented by adidas and each episode will debut on KICKTV as opposed to last year when the show initially aired on TV via NBC Sports Network.

Episodes will be primarily released each Thursday throughout the MLS regular season.

“The MLS Insider series presents our biggest stars and our League’s top stories in unparalleled depth,” said Vice President of MLS+, the League’s premium content group, Nelson Castro in a statement. “We could not ask for a better partner than Hock Films for our flagship program, nor a more fitting sponsor than adidas. People are regularly telling us that Insider is the best video coverage of MLS they’ve ever seen, and that they want more of it.”

An episode featuring the LA Galaxy and Club Tijuana is expected to air on Tuesday ahead of the two club’s CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals second leg in Mexico. It will feature Landon Donovan, Omar Gonzalez and Herculez Gomez, and show how the two clubs vie for both players and supporters throughout the hotbed that is Southern California.

Future episodes of the series will focus on more than 30 players who are attempting to earn their place at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil this summer, upcoming expansion clubs, and more.

The season premiere, titled “Twenty Penalties, One Champion,” debuted March 6 and documented the 20-round penalty kick MLS Cup final that saw Sporting Kansas City narrowly beat Real Salt Lake on a frozen evening at Sporting Park in December 2013.
