Julian Green’s first experience with the U.S. Men’s National Team appears to have gone well enough for there to be another.
The young Bayern Munich prospect will now be joining the USMNT ahead of the upcoming April 2 friendly against Mexico, SI.com reported on Tuesday. Green has been given permission by Bayern Munich to travel to Arizona for the friendly.
Green is still not eligible to play for the United States until he files a one-time Change of Association, but he can take part in training. Bayern Munich had to grant Green permission to join the USMNT since the Mexico friendly is not on a FIFA fixture date.
