The 2014 World Cup kicks off exactly three months from today, meaning the days are dwindling and time running out on players to round into form and make their pushes not only for a place on the U.S. World Cup team, but also the starting lineup.

In my latest Goal.com column, I look at the projected U.S. World Cup roster, which features several battles for starting roles and roster places just two months before Klinsmann will announce his final 23- man squad.

I touch on some of the roster battles, as well as discuss the struggles of Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey, which have U.S. fans rightfully concerned as the World Cup draws closer.

Give the column a read and then cast your vote here on some of the key roster and position battles still in play.
